I want to modify my car, will void my warranty?  If I chip my car, will it void my warranty?

If I lower my car, will it void my warranty?

Again, just ask us. There are Volkswagen performance parts such as the Volkswagen factory lowering springs that will not void your warranty.

Can I change the size of the tires on my vehicle?

Your tires were carefully selected to match your Volkswagen, the tire size that is shown on the “Tire and Loading Information” label on the door of your vehicle (or listed in your Owner’s Manual) is recommended for use.

Does Volkswagen recommend snow tires during the winter for better performance?

Actually, yes! As described in your Owner’s Manual, we recommend using winter tires or all-season tires on all four wheels. Winter tires help improve the vehicle’s braking performance and can reduce stopping distances in winter weather. Even with snow tires, you must always drive in a manner appropriate for the weather, visibility, and road conditions.

Do I warm up my TDI engine before driving it off on winter?

What are the signs of turbo failure?

If a turbo on a vehicle is not functioning as it normally would, then the Check Engine light will come on. Though, this light will not just pin point the problem as the Check Engine light may come on for variety of reasons related to engine of a vehicle. An experienced technician will be able to carry out tests and find out the source of the problem. Never the less, if a boost gauge is installed in the vehicle and the gauge is not increasing or functioning as it normally would, then it is a sign that the vehicle’s turbo may need to be checked out. Additionally, loss of power, smoke from the tail pipe and clatter coming out of the turbo are signs of failing Turbo charger.

How to use Volkswagen Golf GTI performance monitor?

In order to access the performance monitor, please press “Car” button adjacent to touch screen. Then select “Selection” followed by “Sport” on the touch screen. You will then be able to view three Gauges and the information can be changed to your choosing. The following information can be accessed; Accelerometer, Boost Pressure, Engine Cool Temperature, Engine Oil Temperature, and Power Meter.
